On Monday 22nd June, 2015 KPMG startups team and CPM sponsored an event hosted by the Cyprus - Slovakia Business Association titled: Start-up Environment in Slovakia and Cyprus – Perspectives for Cooperation. The event was opened by the President of Cyprus – Slovakia Business Association Mr. Angelos Gregoriades and H.E. Ambassador of the Slovak Republic Oksana Tomová. The event took place at the headquarters of the Bank of Cyprus in the presence of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Costas Kadis. The main speakers were Mr. Jaroslav Lupták, Investment Manager and Head of Business Consulting at Neulogy – Slovakia, Mrs. Marina Jensen Director, Reform for Growth Unit for Administrative Reform, Presidency, Mr. Tomáš Rosputinský CEO and Co-founder of Staffino and Mr. Andrew Michael, CEO and Co-founder of Funifi. A VIP dinner followed the event in the presence of the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Mr. George Lakkotrypis. Participants reaffirmed the common goals of creating a channel of communication and collaboration between the two ecosystems.
