Marieta commenced her professional career in Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting team based in Prague. In her management-consulting role, she has led various projects across industries, enterprise-wide process/system reengineering projects across EU and USA.

Later in her carrier, she worked in various multinational corporations in the role of CFO. She lead the finance organization of Compaq and later Hewlett Packard in Czech Republic. From technology sector, she have transitioned to pharmaceutical industry also in the role of CFO of Pfizer and later Astellas for Czech & Slovak Republics. During her carrier, she was engaged in several international consulting assignments in USA and Europe. 

Cyprus is currently her base for work and life. She is working as an independent management consultant in her own company. She offers services of outsourcing of leadership roles, corporate restructuring, change management and mentoring. Marieta is also a founder and director of global online school Flamingos, which is striving to develop the open mind and curiosity of Slovak children living globally for Slovak language and heritage. 

Marieta graduated from School of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia. She also completed an INSEAD leadership program and Stanford Executive program at Stanford GSB.

Marieta is Slovak national and speaks Czech, English, Spanish and Russian.
